Our History
Dr. Sukumar J. Magdum Foundation is established in the year 2006. It is established
under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. Dr. Sukumar Magdum is the founder chairman
of this foundation performing consistently. He has been awarded "Dhanwantari Gaurav
Puraskar by Avishkar Social and Educational Foundation in 2012 for his outstanding
contribution for social development The foundation work is being grown substantially
in educational, medical, social & cultural field. Dr Mrs. Shubhangi S. Magdum is
Vice Chairman of this foundation. She is M.D. in homeopathy. She looks after administration
of Late Mrs. Housabai J. Magdum Public Highschool & Dr. Sukumar J. Magdum Foundation.
Also she is a Principal of Late Mrs. Housabai Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital.
She has been awarded 'Adarsha Mahila Puraskar' by Parshwanath Jain Charitable Trust,
Dudhgaon. In 2006 Dr. Sukumar J. Magdum foundation has been started a CBSE school
in the name of his mother, 'Late Mrs. Housabai J. Magdum Public High School. The
aim of foundation is to develop & aware the accelerated community specially our
teenager kids & their parents. Every year this foundation organizes free health
checkup camp at 'Dr. Sukumar Magdum Foundation's Hospital', for poor people. This
foundation has started scheme for treatment of indigent & weaker section patients
through which they can get quality medical service from best doctors free of cost.
All facilities like surgeries, digital X-Ray, laboratories are provided at the hospital.
Also Dr. Sukumar J. Magdum foundation has been established Dr. Sukumar J. Magdum
Library' in 2011 having 30 students reading capacity which includes books like competitive
exam, story, novel and personality development. Foundation has adopted one of the
handicapped schools.
